5 benefits of CBD oil

It seems lately that CBD has everyone talking. At Lost Remedy, we’ve always known CBD was buzz-worthy. Why have so many others taken up the buzz about CBD-infused topicals and CBD oil?

First of all, CBD is nonpyschoactive (you don’t get high from using it), it’s not habit forming, and has few side effects. However, CBD taken for anxiety or depression can change your mood; for the better usually.

Here is a list of five conditions or issues most often improved with internal or external use of CBD, which is why it has people’s attention.

Pain relief

Every body is bequeathed an endocanabinoid system at birth. Within that system are receptors, CB1 and CB2 most notably. Your body produces endocannabinoids that bind to those receptors. Treating pain with a topical such as Joint and Muscle Relief or CBD oil as a dietary supplement helps your body stimulate the naturally occurring endocannabinoids to form an anti-inflammatory response that relieves pain. Use them both at the same time for even more effective pain relief for aching joints and muscles and the effects of such chronic conditions as arthritis, multiple sclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis and others.

Anxiety and depression

Depression and anxiety come in different forms and they tend to be chronic conditions, not just a bout of short-term sadness or anxiety. CBD has been found effective in these conditions, by unleashing a more effective serotonin delivery into the nervous system. Serotonin affects emotions and motor skills and is a natural mood stabilizer.

Cancer-related symptoms

CBD used for cancer-related treatment symptoms include pain relief (already noted) and reduced nausea and vomiting from chemotherapy. Lost Remedy Burn Formula, also, has had great results in avoiding burns from radiation treatment. Other studies indicate that CBD may even have anticancer properties. (However, more studies must be conducted on humans to prove this theory.)

Acne

A common skin condition, acne affects about 9% of the population. Causes include factors such as genetics, bacteria, underlying inflammation and the overproduction of sebum, an oily secretion made by sebaceous glands in the skin. The anti-inflammatory action of CBD and its ability to reduce sebum production help to reduce acne agents in the skin.

Heart health

Even though CBD doesn’t act directly on the heart, the way it connects with the endocannabinoid system can reduce inflammation and lower blood pressure.

We’ve already noted the anti-inflammatory aspect of CBD. It works to reduce inflammation when it’s present in the cells of the heart by causing the immune system to send out fewer immune cells to attack. Also, CBD has proven to reduce the number of cells that die in the heart during inflammation. This helps your heart muscle hold onto its strength.

In the case of high blood pressure, CBD has been found to widen the blood vessels (allowing for more blood flow), reducing damage to arterial walls.

But, is CBD safe?

According to this article in the National Library of Medicine, An Update on Safety and Side Effects of Cannabidiol: A Review of Clinical Data and Relevant Animal Studies, “In general, the often-described favorable safety profile of CBD in humans was confirmed and extended by the reviewed research. The majority of studies were performed for treatment of epilepsy and psychotic disorders. Here, the most commonly reported side effects were tiredness, diarrhea, and changes of appetite/weight. In comparison with other drugs … CBD has a better side-effect profile. This could improve patients’ compliance and adherence to treatment.” Not many other medications can make that claim.

  1. My mom died because of a brain tumor. At first, she is experiencing severe headache from time to time. We went to a doctor to ask whats happening to her but they said its only a migraine, so he gave a medicine to cure the pain. She was bedridden at that time. 1 month later when were busy on something i heard my mom shout because of her head and that point we ran to the nearest hospital but sadly her journey is over. Yes, she died when that thing happens to her. We don’t know if who’s fault is that because the doctor in that hospital told us she has a brain tumor and all this time we only know that its a simple migraine. It’s been 11 years now but i still remember what happened to her. I am experiencing migraine now and i am afraid maybe one of these days it can happen to me also. But i saw this https://www.worldwide-marijuana-seeds.com/collections/bomb-marijuana-seeds that maybe marijuana can cure a migraine, i don’t know if this thing works so i want an opinion here. If somebody uses it already? Can you help me with this?

  2. Brenda,
I apologize that it has taken a while to respond to your comment. Lost Remedy is in the process of moving and as you may imagine, it’s been a little crazy. I’m so sorry to hear about what happened to your mother. Your concern regarding your own headaches is completely understandable. First, I need to tell you that we can make no claims that CBD can cure anything. I encourage you to discuss your condition with your doctor and ensure that what you have are migraines. Share your concern about what happened to your mother, which will help the doctor be more vigilant and helpful.

Next, CBD oil is nonpsychoactive, so you don’t get high, and has few, if any side effects if used properly. It is a dietary supplement that can help relieve symptoms of certain conditions. Read the blog from last week that discusses what you need to know when buying CBD oil and also read the blog from February 13, 2017, titled The mother of all headaches for more perspective.

Contact us at http://www.lostremedy.com if you have further questions. I hope my response has helped and that you are able to find relief from your migraines.
